Small viewport
When the aspect ratio of the viewport is taller than the artboard, the left and right side of the artboard outside the safe zone will be cut off.
Normal viewport
The artboard will be shown fullscreen with a larger viewport, but placed elements will stay 100% in size.
Large viewport
When the aspect ratio of the viewport is wider than the artboard, the top and bottom of the artboard outside the safe zone will be cut off.
In the browser
How does the artboard behave in Fullscreen viewport?
In the editor
Maglr Pro Editor example
The background image is set to fullscreen, so it will not react to the safezone. Instead it will create a fullscreen effect. The fake textblock is positioned inside the safezone and therefore always visible.
More info on element placement
Because the artboard and the viewport might have different sizes, adjustments have to be made. Therefore you can define a safe zone. Inside the safe zone positioned elements are always visible on every viewport.
Safe zone
Longpage
A vertical orientated artboard similar to common websites. You can scroll up and down to navigate.
Fullscreen
The artboard will be shown fullscreen (as big as proportionally possible) in the viewport. The safezone and placed elements will stay 100% in size.
You would like to create a page where all elements are always visible on different screens and devices … how do you start?
Fullscreen or Longpage?
Different devices have different screens sizes and aspect ratio’s.
