Element placement

Example: The background image on the (previous) Artboard tutorial is set to fullscreen.

Click on the justify options for more information.

The second method is that some specific elements can be justified to fullscreen to create a more fullscreen effect.

Fullscreen effect

Free position

New elements are default set on free position. This setting positions the element absolutely to the artboard. Elements positioned outside the safe zone can be cut off.

Sticky

Positions an element absolutely to the viewport, which stays inside the viewport while scrolling. Sticky alignment is only available when the viewport of the artboard is set to Longpage.

Page border

Positions an element absolutely to the corners of the viewport, instead of the artboard.

There are some exceptions to create a more fullscreen effect. The first method: elements can be set to align to the viewport instead of the artboard. These elements will not react to the safezone.

Align to viewport

Now you’ve created an page where all positioned elements are always vissible inside the safezone, but how do you optimal use the available space on larger screens?
